If you operate switches A & B the motor will drive in one direction and the other direction if you operate C & D. The diodes are to conduct voltages generated by the motor (back EMFs) back to the battery. This helps 3 ways: - 1. The motor is slowed down quicker when you want it to stop. 2. The motor helps to top up the battery. 3. The diodes help to increase the life of the contact faces of the switches.
This is a complete PWM speed controller it is intended for use with relays to change direction as can be seen on the top left. The one thing this CCT dos not have is a current limiter.
This is the interface between the receiver and the oscillator above. The micro switches are to operate relays for direction change.
